I envisioned this mandala as I was watching a news footage of the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. I saw all of the strife, and the division of the people affected and others across the country and the world. I pictured these five deities all looking down from the heavens, holding hands and praying for those affected by the hurricane. The image of Humanity Street flooded with muddy water was from Good Morning America. I only saw that clip once, compared to the hundreds of times other clips were broadcast. The dieties in the image are Jesus, Vishnu, Buddha, Kuan Yin, Yemaya, and White Buffalo Calf Woman.

This mandala was created to help a friend unblock her throat chakra, and to help her "find her voice".
This mandala was created for a man whose friend was first diagnosed with breast cancer, and then lung cancer. He was looking to comfort both her, and himself.
