Meet The Artist!
Fine Art
The focus of my art is storytelling and healing. I re-tell stories of the ages and create art that is healing in nature for both the viewer and myself.  Art is a reflection of the artist’s deepest self. I see and feel my connection to The Great Mysteries, Women, and all living things when I am creating art. My belief is that we are all connected as though we are one.  I work in several mediums, but the focus is always rooted deeply in Spirit
I graduated from Kutztown University in 1990 with a degree in Art Education.  I have been teaching and showing my work in many venues since then.  I was introduced to the spiritual aspect of creating art several years ago, and I have been creating art for and with people for healing purposes ever since.  I create and implement workshops for various organizations locally and nationally, both in the technical and spiritual aspects of creating art.
Jewelry and Wearable Art
The art of adornment is closely connected with both art and dance, and is rooted in Spirit and the connection with the Divine.  The pieces I create are one of a kind and are intended to tap into the Great Mysteries.  My inspiration comes from many sources, including ancient artwork and nature.  Each piece begins with intentions and meditation.  I work with various materials: sterling silver, brass, copper, semi-precious gemstones, fossilized materials, enamel on copper, and other things that may strike my fancy.
Dance
Dance has come back into my life, connecting all the aspects of art that fuel my passion.  I took ballet, tap, & jazz classes as a child.  I was always the one dancing and not socializing at school dances and later on, at night clubs.  As I started to mature (and worry about how to pay all of my bills!), I fell away from dancing on a regular basis.  I began taking Egyptian Dance (aka Bellydance) classes in 2004.  Suddenly, everything fell into place!  I have been dancing ever since.  I dance with Troupe Raquesi al-Qamar al-Masrion (which means Egyptian Moon).  I include dance in my spiritual practice, as it connects me with other women, and with the sacred.  It’s rather like an active meditation …VERY active!  Dance is a healing art form that has been practiced since the beginning of time.  It seems that it is the mother of all art forms, giving birth to poetry, visual arts, theatre, and the rest.
Mission Statement:
"To encourage, facilitate and promote creativity and self truth through the arts."
